Seasons start shortly after new version releases. We've had 3 seasons so far, ever since 1.16 'Nether Update', and it's quite nice to see everyone learning how to fight, and make wonderful things. Now we have fucking farms, we didn't have that before. Players will only get more advance as time passes.
